Background information:
We positively welcome any interest from community groups in "adopting" lengths of the Trail. At present under a pilot scheme 7 sections of the trail are adopted by families from the National Park run Explorer Club. They visit the route on three occassions each year and carry out minor maintenance, whlst recording wildlife observations. There may be further opportunities for schools to adopt lengths if a LIFE+ funding bid led by Norfolk County Council is successful. Other sections may be picked up through National Park volunteers and Scout Groups.
